![]() Rating: - Does as entitledHave had it for months and have ordered 2 more. Does as It should. Rating: - I agree - best surge protectorThis thing has everything I need. Has a $300,000 connected equipment warranty. 12 outlets - good for 2 computers with all the works. Has cable in and out, Ethernet in and out. Fax in and out. I feel like my computers are pretty well protected with this. Has a light to indicate whether it is grounded or not. I guess If lightening strikes, it goes down the grounding mostly (one of the other reviewers hinted at this). Has safety covers for outlets not used (in case you have tiny children, I guess - though probably would be best to put those outlet covers on it, instead, in case they could open it - maybe it's also to keep dust out). The only drawback for me, is when I purchased it it was $24, and now it's selling for cheaper on amazon, I think 19.99. Well, you can't win them all. It is only $5.00 cheaper now. I should have bought a book or something and gotten free shipping for orders over $25, also, as shipping was $6.00. Oh well, live and learn. Rating: - Excellent surge protectorI was very pleased with my Belkin purchase. I was focused on a few things, 1. length to go behind my sofa. 2. plenty of transformer plug ins and it met both... I am VERY PLEASED!!! Rating: - PerfectThis is the only stip I've used that really does work for both block and standard connectors while allowing full access to every port. I even have two of those stupid sideways blocks on there, which fit in just fine at the bottom, above the phone ports. Great product! Rating: - Highly recommendedI absolutely love the adapter friendly design of this surge protector. I use it for my PC, and every single power cord in that general area passes through this thing. Connected are the PC, the monitor, the printer, the speakers, the cordless phone, the force feedback joystick, the router, the DSL modem, and a bluetooth charger. So I am using most of the slots, and have yet to encounter any issues. Thankfully my house hasn't been struck by lightning yet, but having this between my PC and the power outlet is a definite peace of mind. But honestly, it's the design that takes the cake. I can fit up to 6 large adapters with absolutely no problem (and you probably have plenty of those around a PC). On other surge protectors, adapters would take up 2 or even 3 spots. Not with with one. So far it has performed great, and I highly recommend it. |
