Product Description: Swiss Army Unisex #24117
Amazon.com Product Description: From the maker of the genuine Swiss Army Knife comes this suitably durable and stylishly refined Cavalier stainless steel women's watch. Featuring precise Swiss-manufactured quartz movement, this mid-sized, round watch has a wide, flattened bezel framing the ivory face. The dial includes a full Arabic numeral display, luminous sword-shaped hands (with seconds hand), small minute indexes, and a round date window at 3 o'clock. It's matched to a fine grain leather strap in beige with white stitching and a stainless steel buckle with an engraved Swiss Army shield. Other features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, large, easily operated crown, and water resistance to 50 meters--suitable for swimming but not for diving.
About Victorinox/Swiss Army It all started in 1897 with a cutlery factory owned by Karl Elsener, who became the official supplier of the Swiss army with the famous soldierÕs knife. In 1909, Karl Elsener named his company Victoria in memory of his mother, and when stainless steel (Inox) was invented in 1921, the family company became Victorinox. The name "Swiss Army" was born from the immense popularity that the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife enjoyed with American GIs returning to the USA in 1945. Today's Victorinox Swiss Army watches inherit the quality, durability, and ingenuity of the legendary Victorinox multi-tools and Swiss Army watches.

A good watch is something you should buy based on a number of factors. Durability, looks, quality, style and materials. As you can see, some of these factors are personal preferences, so what follows is my opinion based on some of these intangibles.
First off, quality, materials. Swiss Army has a long held reputation for making fine, durable watches. This one carries those craft genetics. Attention is paid to every detail and to be blunt-it runs like a swiss watch-because it is.
A word about the style preference factor. I purchased this as a gift for my wife. She is active, wears casual clothing, tends to be sporty and has a real practical streak. She loves this watch for daily wear. Never puts it on for events or going out for dinner.
Will you like it? Perhaps, if understated eloquence and quality appeal in a wrist watch. I was taking a chance with a purchase like this, a watch being a personal thing-like other jewelery. Having a good sense of my better half's tastes made this a pretty easy choice.
So if you like sporty good looks, legendary build quality and a versatile fashion accessory-this watch is for you.
