INDICATIONS: Clemastine Fumarate 1.34Mg Antihistamine Tablets by Sandoz is an antihistamine used to relieve allergic rhinitis (seasonal allergy) symptoms including sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes.Clemastine is also used to treat itching and swelling associated with uncomplicated allergic skin reactions. Clemastine is available in nonprescription products alone and in a combination formula to treat symptoms of allergy, colds, and upper respiratory infections. INGREDIENTS: Active Ingredients:(in each tablet): CLEMASTINE (Antihistamine). Inactive Ingredients:Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Starch Glycolate. DIRECTIONS: adults and children 6 years and over: 1 tablet daily, not more than 1 tablet in 24 hours children under 6 years of age: ask a doctor consumers with liver or kidney disease: ask a doctor. WARNINGS: Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients. Ask a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease. Your doctor should determine if you need a different dose. When using this product do not take more than directed. Taking more than directed may cause drowsiness. I use this for my dog and it works wonders. Everytime she starts to scratch and bite out it comes from the closet. Vet gave her all these expensvise things but this works better and is much less expensive. And I don't need a prescription to buy it.
Hope it works for your animals too.

This medication is the same exact medicine as the brand name, without the brand name. Came quickly and for less than I can get it at discount stores.

I use these generic allergy pills on my dog (who weighs 80lb dog). She lives in the woods and stays outdoors all the time. She has tree pollen allergies and is usually miserable this time of the year. Instead of continuing to use Benadryl, I give her this generic Tavist which lasts far longer and is, as a result, more effective. Twelve hours between pills work perfect with my ranching schedule. These generic Tavist appear far very effective. I give her two pills twice a day and she is doing very very well. Its nice to see her playing and mingling with the animals instead of scratching!

This generic Tavist costs a fraction of what it costs in a pharmacy. Be sure to choose the product and then decide how many you need. If you choose a deal, better price for two, sometimes they come from different shippers, costing more since they come from 2 places and charge from both! Beware!

Product works pretty well for me, as with most or all anti-histamines - it lacks perfection. But being OTC and reasonably priced it is fine. I am not sure why this particular antihistimine has lost favor in the marketplace.
