Editorial Review:
Description: Navigating life and love in L.A. isn't easy, and no one knows that better than Noah and his friends - Alex, Ricky & Chance. LOGO's ground-breaking, one-of-a-kind series Noah's Arc follows all four as they chart an uncertain course through the City of Angels, where laughter and drama are never in short supply.
Amazon.com: If you're in the mood to watch sassy commentary, hardcore melodrama, and extreme dating, Noah's Arc will satisfy. Eight juicy episodes comprise The Complete Second Season. A heightened sense of action in the linked narratives, not only in the sexual sense, taps in to the old-school soap opera model, leaving the viewer jonesing to find out what will happen next. Stories center around five tight-knit buddies, Noah, Chance, Alex, Ricky, and Trey, but so many boyfriends come and go that it's tricky to even keep up with who's who in this handsome world. The men take everything, including themselves, way too seriously, but that's part of the fun. Most notably in The Second Season, Noah's ex, Wade, hovers in the background as Noah attempts to fall in love with gentlemanly Malik in 'Housequake,' the rapper Baby Gat in 'Give It Up,' and with politically astute Quincy in episodes six and seven. Dating galore amongst all the men leaves the viewer reeling, but each episode also tackles more serious issues in the gay community, like when Noah gets brutally beaten in 'Baby, Can I Hold You?' or when Ricky braves dating an HIV-positive beau. Humor levels stay high with queen Alex's undying flair, while college professor, Chance, and his boyfriend, Eddie, hold down the fort in a more understated way. Corny, dramatic, funny, ridiculous, and touching all at once, this second season of Noah's Arc contains enough surprise to keep viewers riveted until the last microsecond of the season's finale. —Trinie Dalton

Rating: - Noahs Arc: First and Second Season
My daughter's friend turned her on to this series and she in turn shared it with me. I love it. I love it and am now hooked. It is about life and relationships. The series may have portrayed the stories through the lives of these beautiful Gay, Black Men but the interactions and life's experiences is not GAY, STRAIGHT, MAN, WOMAN, BLACK, WHITE, etc... It is something we all share and have in common and can probably identify with. It is bottom-line human without all the tags and labels. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me happy, it made me sad, it made me mad, it made me think, and it also it made me a Voyeur (LOL). The characters are personable, individualistic, and delightful. I have a love for them all. The stories are well written, thought through, entertaining and informative. There is nothing negative I can say about it.
Rating: - Noah's journey ain't over yet.
This INCREDIBLY short second season had me wanting more. I got through it all during the course of 2 days - it was that good.
This season has some surprising twists to it - none of which I will reveal here, but Mr. Polk did an amazing job giving the characters more depth this season. The season cliffhanger was shocking, to say the least.
This set has some great features: you need to listen to the commentary, as with the first season, the dialogue is hilarious and it shows the cast being interviewed for the Logo channel.
Sadly, this show deserved a bigger audience than what Logo was capable of giving it. Had Showtime, HBO, or FX picked it up - it may have made Noah a household name.
Rating: - I thought it would never come..
It took a whole mouth for it to get to my house and when it got here i send it back.. but they made sure they got there money from my card 1st wayy before they send it. i think the dvd is good but i rather buy it somewhere else then on amazon!!
Rating: - Noah's ARC delivers on many levels
This series has been roundly praised for being grounding breaking and at the same time critized harshly for it's bad acting, poor production values, and un believable story lines. While all of the above is true the point is we love and can relate to these charcters on many levels and isn't that the point in the first place. Each week for two far to short seasons we fell in love with Noah, Wade, Chance, Ricky, et al. Watch these two seasons of DVD's and laugh, cry, root for, and fall in love with these characters all over again. Two of the Digisodes, one each on the season two DVD with Jensen Atwwod (Wade) and Darryl Stephens (Noah) while very heavy handed are nothing short of acting/writing brilliance. The chemistry is unmatched on par with some of the best television has ever produced. ENJOY because now all we have are the DVD's and the upcoming movie. Noah's Arc - The Complete Second Season
