Editorial Review:
Description: Hen's Tooth Video proudly presents two of the most successful Spaghetti Westerns ever made in a boxed set edition. Terence Hill (Mario Girotti) and Bud Spencer (Carlo Pedersoli) star in these wildly popular spoofs of the Italian Western genre. THEY CALL ME TRINITY and TRINITY IS STILL MY NAME are presented here for the first time in their theatrically correct anamorphic widescreen ratios, mastered from magnificent Technicolor prints. These comedies paved the way for Mel Brooks' Western send-up Blazing Saddles and made international superstars out of the team of Hill and Spencer, ushering in a twenty-five year association for the two actors. Together and separately they worked with some of the best Italian directors in the business (Sergio Leone, Sergio Corbucci, and Luchino Visconti). The Trinities were followed by hits like Crimebusters, Miami Supercops, Odds and Evens and countless others. Sit back and enjoy a double dose of Western comedy, Italian style!

Rating: - Great product
I bought this as a gift. The delivery was quicker than expected reducing my stress level greatly! The gift was well received, so I'm thinking getting this is a good idea for anyone who's looking for it...
Rating: - no spagetti western
this is no spagetti western . at least not now with the new remastered version.
I CANT BELIEVE IT TOOK SO LONG TO DO IT RIGHT WITH THIS GREAT WESTERN COMEDY CLASSIC.
Rating: - Nice prints... but you want THESE uncut versions
It's great to see these Trinity movies in a box set...but they are missing a few scenes.
ON AIR, a danish company, has had widescreen remastered uncut and complete versions for a few years now.
They are beautiful prints nice colours and sharp. They include the FAMILY MEAL PRAYER scene and BAMBINO'S CONFESSION in the monastery. Visit www.on-air-video.dk then order through AMAZON!
Rating: - UK release has extended interviews with Terence and Bud!!
Great films and a great price on the two pack!! But what about the skimpy features?
Heads up to fans that the remastered UK release of these films has great present-day extended interviews with both Terence and Bud. Terence speaks pretty good english but Bud never did speak english and his interview is subtitled. Great stories and memories from the old days and gives one a better understanding of what they were trying to do.
What a shame they didn't include these rare interviews on this new US release. But that's how it always goes over here. (Check out the UK release of Bronson's Red Sun with a SUPER RARE interview with the normally tight-lipped Bronson!?!) Ahh the joys of a region free DVD player....
If you like these films, skip the unofficial third installment of this Trinity Trilogy titled 'The Trouble Makers' and check out 'Watch Out We're Mad' instead - it's hilarious!!
Rating: - Trinity and Bambino finally in anamorphic WIDESCREEN!!!
Great job Hen's Tooth Home video!!! Finally Anamorphic Widescreen releases of They Call Me Trinity and Trinity is Still My Name!!! The visuals are leaps and bounds better than the other Fullscreen vresions that I've seen in the past on DVD,they looked like poor VHS copies(Direct Source comes to mind) trasferred on DVD. Well all that's fixed in this set which was mastered from original film negatives!!!A bit low on extras, but hey these spaghetti western comedy gems finally have been released properly!!! So enjoy Trinity and Bambino the way they were meant to be seen,in beautiful widescreen!!! Worth the extra bucks!!! Recommeded!!! Two thumbs up!!! A+
