Marnie is disappointed when she learns that there's a strict no magic policy on campus and soon discovers that she's been lured to Halloweentown to fulfill an age old prophecy that has little to do with college and everything to do with her ancestors and a secret that's been kept for a thousand years. As Marnie struggles to discover who can be trusted and battles the incessantly devious Sinister Sisters (Kristy Wu, Katie Cockrell, and Kellie Cockrell), Marnie learns a lot about human (and inhuman) nature, Cromwell family history, her own strengths and weaknesses, and the responsibilities that accompany power. Sara Paxton does a fine job replacing Kimberly Brown as Marnie, though Halloweentown, Halloweentown II and Halloweentown High fans are nonetheless apt to be somewhat disconcerted by the actress change. So nice to have a fun Halloween movie that will not create nightmares, but laughs.

Movie was alright but would have been better with the original Marnie (Kimberly J. Brown).

A good family movie just like all the Halloweentown movies.Fun to watch anytime.However,it would have been great for Kimberly J. Brown to have been Marnie.Also,it would have been great for Debbie Reynolds to have been in the movie alot more.All the Halloweentown movies are wonderful for everyone.Movies to buy and watch again and again.

I bought this DVD for my daughter, she loves all the Halloweentown movies and it's a great family picture.
