Practice makes perfect. I have ten clips of the style available through Amazon. They work as well as or better than the various original Soviet/Russian manufacture clips I've acquired over the years I've been buying cases of ammo from importers.
If you are used to using Mauser or Enfield strippers, avoid the "thumb down the middle" method and relearn the "thumb by the base, middle finger supporting the tip of the top bullet".
If you have a lot of different clip styles, it pays to keep them seperate. Each one will require slightly different geometry to use efficiently. You can also sort your different ammo types by putting them on different clips.

These do NOT fit 7.62x54R, the seller refused to send a return postage label and I got stuck with these. Don't buy from this guy since he can't sell products that work

Well, they work. Took a while to get used to as they are a bit harder to load than an m4 magazine. However with youtube and some practice it is not very hard. Some of the clips were a little bent which is why I gave 4/5. By that mean one of the pieces sticking out was a little too far in making it much harder to use. I bent the two like this back and they work fine. It is sheet metal after all. I must say that the bullets aren't going to load like its the latest call of duty, so don't expect it. However, besides the names, games usually don't get much right when it comes to guns.

These suck right out of the package, but if you open them up just a little they work fine. I pushed mine on the edge of my workbench and tapped them with a rubber mallet to open them up, and then the rounds moved freely in the clip, but were held by the pins at the end (which i also adjusted a little to make up for opening the channel). It also just takes some practice. Lift on the first bullet and push down so the rim is pushing the next round. Its lever/fulcrum physics at its best. For 2 dollars and 10 minutes of practice/work its a decent buy.

Everything works fine. They are 5 shot stripper clips for the Mosin. They make it faster and easier to load your bullets.
Note that they come in packages of 5. I overlooked that and ended up with 25 clips when i only wanted 5.
