Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Yes, they do fog up, but...
I'm demoing my living room in a 100+ year old house. I've been using the regular $5 goggles for the walls, and they were working fine. Then I started on the ceiling and that was when I switched to these.

I had lattice, plaster, blown insulation and 100+ years of dust coming at me from all sides. These goggles were great at keeping a tight seal around my eyes, keeping everything out.

That being said, they also kept everything in, so there is nowhere for sweat to go and they end up fogging up. Personally, I'm fine with that. They only get used in rare occasions, but in those rare occasions they are great. Besides, if you're doing demo what is going to slow you down more: a) stopping all of the time while your eyes try to flush out all of the dirt that just got dumped into them or b) that ceiling you are hitting with a hammer is a little blurry?

Dewalt, FYI, I would pay twice as much for these if you took a page out of the down hill ski goggle's book and installed a micro fan and filter. Just my two cents.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good Impact Resistance, scratches easily and fogs easily.
These DeWalt safety goggles seem to have good impact resistance for anything that has hit them, but they started ti scratch easily right off the bat just from normal wear and sitting them down etc...

They easily fog from right out of the mail for me. Mine may have been missing some coating of some sort I don't know, but if you wear any type of dust masks, expect them to fog so quickly that you will be removing them very often to wipe them out.

They also do NOT seal around your eyes at all! There are many better options out there if you need the goggle to seal nicely so small wood dust etc. doesn't get into your eyes (used both tree trimming and wood cutting (and more). I am going to look for a better type or maybe even just get some good ski type or paintball type goggles to use. The best would be ballistic rated military goggles, but big price difference.

For basic use these aren't bad and the price isn't too bad, but they don't offer enough of a tight fit or foam around the edges etc. to keep dust out. There are goggles that seal better and still have foam filtered vents to keep from fogging up as bad.

It is nice that they come apart to swap lenses or to clean them very well in every corner.

Would I buy again, probably not. Do I regret the purchase, not really since they were cheap and I am getting some use out of them still.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Keeps the Dust Out
The goggles do a great job of keeping the dust out of your eyes when ripping through wood. They fit snug and don't move from where you put them. They do fog badly under the right conditions. I was working with a dust mask during a humid day recently and it didn't take long at all to have my vision completely obscured by the beads of moisture on the inside of the lens. I will continue to use them for their dust protection, but they are not the answer I was hoping for.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not Z87
My work requires glasses that are ANSI Z87 rated. I do not see that marking cast into them anywhere.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Easily fogs when wearing dustmask
I bought these for the antifog claim. I liked how well they fit especially over my wire rim glasses. When in use with a dustmask however, they quickly fog to the point you cannot see out of them and are unusable. My cheap .99 cent lab goggles work far better with the mask.
