Product Description: M83 Electric Airsoft Rifle Heavy Weight AEG
Amazon.com Product Description: A 1:1 scale replica of an M16 M4 carbine rifle, the M83 electric airsoft rifle is remarkably authentic. The M83 fires round pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun electronically. The advantage of the airsoft rifle, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The M83 looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can typically tell a real-steel firearm from an airsoft rifle is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The M83 is an electronic gun, with no pumping required: just point and shoot. The gun offers two firing modes--full auto and semi-auto--and comes equipped with an adjustable electric red crosshair sight, an adjustable laser aim module, a tactical flashlight, and a bullet loader.

I bought this gun quite some time ago when I was a newbie to airsoft, at first I was very excited about the gun, but soon the excitement turned into pure frustration as the bbs began to spread and the clip stopped feeding bbs into the gun. Even if you're a newbie to airsoft buy a CYMA Sig 552 or spend a bit more and get a nice JG or AGM, these tend to have much higher quality internals and are much better for the average airsofter.

I bought this M83 for my son who was turning 13 and is enamored with military weaponry. He went bonkers when he opened the gift. It was his "dream gift".
The build is sturdy and the attachments all fit nicely. This is not a toy for little children though. It puts out a good, steady stream of fire and could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

This gun is not very good quality. I got it to used as my primary weapon but it broke within the first month i had it. when i was in the woods one day the stock broke right off. the bbs jam in the barrel sometimes too. the battery cover doesnt go on all the way either. otherwise the laser is cool and it has a good rate of fire.

ok well this is a good gun. just has a couple of flaws i it. welll the major flaw for me is that i have to hold up the mag kinda so it doesnt skip rounds... also it doesnt hold a lot of ammo only 45 and all the construction is abs plastic. Shots hard and is accurate you just need to kinda conserve ammo. HAs a lot of acceseries and has a hop up installed in the gun. Which is nice. But without a speedloader it makes th3e gun a pain to reload so if ur a first time buyer make sure u get a speedloader along with the any aeg gun you plan on buying. I hope you found this review helpful for you. THIS REVIEW IS BY THE GOLDEN DYNASTY PRODUCITONS

Hey,this was the first gun I bought and I thought it was pretty cool it comes with a lot of accessories and is pretty powerful. The only downfall to the gun is that the clip's are custom which means they cost about $10 per clip that only holds 45 bbs and the battery runs out after about 20 clips, (It uses a 7.2V Ni-Cd batterie)It is made fully out of plastic also. If you looking for a backyard airsoft gun this is it.
