This is one of the funniest shows on television, yet it doesn't receive the attention it should. Rating: - Have a drink at Paddy's I stumbled across this show on the Amazon website and purchased the DVD set after reading some of the reviews. After watching a couple of episodes, I was glad I bought it. It has elements of Seinfeld and Drew Carey and lots of political incorrectness. Fans of The Simpsons, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Ali G/Borat will probably appreciate the humour. While running Paddy's Bar in Philadelphia, this group of 30 year olds? tackles a different social issue in each episode. Issues include underage drinking, gun ownership, abortion etc. Unfortunately, these still young adults are incapable of learning about life without making some big mistakes along the way, and the results are hilarious. I'm looking forward to seeing season three. Rating: - Amazing Comedy My husband and I love this show, I would definitely say it is our favorite thing on TV. The cast is wonderful and they are great at improvization (see special features). My favorite episode has got to be the first one I ever watched, the one where Dee and Dennis try to go on welfare, and decide the best way to do that is to start smoking crack. The show is crass, dark, and irreverent. The banter between the characters on the show is always really good, and the story-lines are so ridiculous (in a good way). If you are wondering what all the fuss is about, buy it! I seriously doubt you will be disappointed.
