There are certain things you look for, when u think to buy an aux cable.
- Length : More than enough, reaches the backseat, comfortably.
- Flexible: Not a hard cover, i.e the wire bends easily and is flexible.
- No degradation in sound quality. It all depends on ur speakers and of course the deck.
- Price: the cheapest one with optimal length, neither too long, nor too short. I actually researched a lot, Frys, bestbuy, etc.
- Does not even require a converter for IPhone 2G. So if u have an iphone 2G or other device with recessed neck, u save on the converter as well.

The genius that designed my car decided to put the Aux input for the car stereo behind the center console/armrest, accessible from the back seat only. I guess I should consider myself lucky that the rest of the controls are accessible from the driver seat. That said, the length of this cable is perfect. What makes this cable great is that the opening in the Speck Candy Shell case for the headphone jack is rather tight and this cable fits in perfectly. It's the raised metal lip on the cable that makes the difference. I could not get the cheaper Radio Shack cable, which does not have the raised metal lip, through the Candy Shell case. This cable should work with the tightest of cases with the smallest of holes.

I bought the cable to use in the AUX port in my car stereo. The audio quality is excellent, although I will say the volume has to be higher then normal. Great cable at a great price!!

Works fine with Ipod Classic (latest version 160 GB, in my case) also with Iphone and basically with any Apple products. Yes, the length of the chord is rather long but the price is rather short so I am happy with the results. I must say that for someone who never had an Ipod I am thrilled to no end with this Ipod Classic. For now I only have 900 songs and after the Ipod communicated with the latest Itunes all the songs were transferred successfully. When the moment of truth came I went to the garage where my one and only car hangs out when not in use and thanks to modern technology all I had to do was connect one end of the Belkin Mini-Stereo Cable for iPhone to my Ipod Classic and the other end to the auxiliary jack provided by the car. I then set the songs in shuffle mode and in an instant I was listening to the hottest songs this side of the Potomac through my car stereo. For a newbie, let me assure you, this was sheer joy. The sound quality, the volume, the fact that I required no CD's to load. The cable made it happen and yes, it is longer than what I needed but it works just as it is supposed to work. For that alone I gladly rate it 5 Stars, why not? Simple, efficient and economic plus Belkin does not disappoint so far. I have a Belkin Hub for several USB Ports and it also works flawlessly.

I mainly got this to connect the iPhone to the receiver in the car. It looks pretty because it is white and matches the iphone well. The not-so-desirable about it is that the length of the wire is a bit long when use in car.
