Editorial Review:
Product Description: In this pithy and hilarious book, Karl Pilkington is in conversation with (the often bewildered) Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the writers and stars of The Office and Extras, unwittingly outwitting even those comedy Goliaths as he struggles in vain to make sense of the world around him.
Unencumbered by erudition and impervious to logic, Karl ambles down a heuristic path to enlightenment under the edifying influence of Ricky and Steve. His pronouncements on such diverse and contentious topics as population control, simian affairs within human society, the sartorial deliberations of solitary spacemen and how long you can stay alive with your head chopped off, are matched in the vehemence with which they are proposed only by the degree to which they are ill-conceived.
Featuring Karl's original illustrations, imaginative scribblings and the best conversations of the world record-breaking Podcasts, The Ricky Gervais Show, this is a unique trip into the world of one of our most innovative thinkers, visionaries and prophets, or as Gervais knows him, 'the funniest man I've ever met.'

Rating: - He really does have a head shaped like a f***ing orange - it's filled with genius juice
If you love the podcasts you'll love this book. Karl is one of the most entertaining people to come along in a VERY LONG time. Who else talks about chimps grabbing womens' chests, flying planes, participating in the 4 man bobsleigh, performing eye surgery, and chimps that get cheeky with the zoo keeper's wife?
His drawings are great too!
I'd definitely buy some of his artwork.

Great Book. A wonderful companion to the podcast. Karls illustrations are fantastic. Check out Happyslapped by a Jellyfish, its even better

I originally bought this for my brother's birthday, since he's a huge Ricky fan. While I was waiting for my brother to return from a trip abroad, I read the first chapter. Which turned into the second, then turned into the whole book. It was hilarious. I've seen a lot of Ricky Gervais's stand-up routines, but I've never listened to the podcasts, and so it was my first introduction to Karl Pilkington and his completely insane thoughts. I was in stitches from the very beginning. You don't even have to have any background on Ricky, Stephen or Karl to read it - it can stand alone magnificently.
Rating: - Congratulations local boy Karl Pilkington; World's Roundest Head
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I got it before I'd heard the podcasts fully so a lot of the material was new to me. Inside you'll find many of the mystical and wise insights of the one and only Karl Pilkington, as well as the comments and remarks of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant who only facilitate the round-headed genius that comes from Manchester. Gotta love Karl's doodles also, and especially appreciate the cover imagery of a citrus fruit dressed up to look like a person's head, oh wait, that is his head.
Rating: - Round Head, Funny Man
This Book is great. I loved the Podcasts. Can you imagine him sitting a computer? The silhouette from the roundest head in the world would look like a lunar eclipse. Or maybe an Orange just floating in orbit around a light source. The book even uses the roundness of his head on the cover. Congratulation to Karl for winning the Roundest Head in the World!
