It is working excellent and the delivery was on time and the humidifier arrived in good condition.

Good Product, however Amazon recommends Honeywell HMP-12P QuickSteam Mineral Absorption Pad, 12 Pack however Honewell on the product recommend HMP-15 which are much smaller. Error definately on amazone part.
Secondly the box of the product do contain 7 small pads for initial year supply so i donot recommend buying the pads along with product. Achieving 30# humidity is quick but you need extermal humidity meter to know the actual moisture in room. After 30% the unit takes hours to go to 50% due to saturation which perhaps normal. Otherwise for me unit is just two days old. Need to monitor atleast 30 days.

Purchased this product a couple of months ago and the unit functioned well and I was very happy with it however a week ago the heat plate, the part that protects the heating element from the water, cracked and water would drip through the crack out the bottom and unto the floor. This is quite dangerous as having water next to an electric current & heat source is asking for trouble, especially when the unit continued to function. The heat plate should be ceramic or cast iron instead of the thin stainless steel piece

I'm pleased with this product, all the items in previous reviews caused me to purchase it. It's easy to fill, but if you fill it to the max, it's a bit heavy depending on your age. It is slightly noisey,with a gurguling sound, but could be as loud as a fountain you may have in your house. I don't know if I'd want it in my bedroom. It's in the living room and provides adequate coverage for the top floor of the house.
