"This is a great product for wine lovers. I don't think it lives up to the hype of completely aerating the wine, but it defiantly cuts the time of aeration. It is great for magnums and 3 or 5 liter bottles. I would recommend this product. I should have bought the decanter and aerator combo that would really speed up the process to about 5 min. verses 20-30 min. or longer for bigger bottles."

I'm not a wine expert, but I do want to taste different red wines. The first time I saw this aerator was in Napa Valley during a wine tasting tour. Bought one at the gift shop and paid a premium for the winery logo on it. Tried it at home and even I can tell the differnece (again, I'm not an expert with wine, period).
This aerator becomes my gift to my friends for birthday parties as Amazon carries this aerator with discount.

I've always enjoyed decanted wine. After a couple of hours the aroma and flavor in a good red wine really blossoms. However that always involved prep work and no more than one bottle at a time. We got aerator after a sample and it is nothing short of magic. Rather than waiting hours for a wine to open up, this sucks air into the wine is it goes through a funnel type device and the wine is instantly aerated. The wine opens up instantly with more flavor and aromoa and is instantly enjoyable at its peak. I would have never believed it if I hadn't tried it. This aerator comes with a filter to remove any sediment and it comes with a pouch to keep it clean. If you enjoy a good bottle of red I can't think of a better addition to your wine cellar (or cabinet in our case) than this. You will be amazed each time and enjoy the wine without hours of waiting for it to open up.

Very mediocre performance...high price for a piece of plastic that is no better than just letting the wine breathe on its own!

You can make a $7 bottle of wine taste like a $30 one with this little gadget. It really does improve the quality substantially, and you can have an indulgent wine experience without paying the indulgent price! And, with a good bottle of wine, the results are even more fantastic :) I highly recommend that any wine lover buy one... we got ours as a gift, and we pull it out every time we drink wine. It's easy to use, clean, and--most importantly for our small kitchen--store.
