It worked fine for me and I was even able to install it on vista. can't beat the price either.

We ordered this because we needed to use a video camera as a webcam to record a class at church amd stream it online for members who were homebound. The instructions and CD make the process very clear, but on ease of use, I scored this a 4, because some of the settings actually had to be configured in two different places, so it took a bit of tweaking. The RCA plugs made configuration a snap, because we were able to take the audio and video and use different sources.
While I was configuring it, I also hooked up a VCR's output to the inputs and found I was able to view/encode/record from the source, so it should make a handy tool for someone trying to encode either home movies or VCR tapes to digital media or DVD.
Couldn't beat the price either...

This video adaptor was very easy to use as soon as I found the setting that I needed to use for my camera. The editor program that came with it is user friendly as well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an adaptor.

Software install without problem. Have only used the video capture for streaming over internal network. Have not tried the audio capture yet.

This device does not do what it says it will do. I contacted support the day after I installed it and was told in an e-Mail, I would have to PAY for support. I wasted my money. Don't buy this. I know alot about computers and this device does not work.
