Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - Excellent in protecting camera, children I used the armor on a trip to Disney world. It did a great job by giving me extra grip and also protecting my camera. I did use the lens cap for my 60mm macro lens and it actually worked better than my plastic lens hood. The plastic hood was hitting others including a child and I found that the armor hood did well in crowded places. The camera case itself could have better markings for buttons and while it does slip and is bulky, its does its job well. I have not performed the drop test to check if it really works. Rating: - Bulky and blocks operation, not worth it. At first this seemed like a great idea to protect my $1200 investment. Upon receiving the unit, I noticed right away that the lens protector was not usable - by having it installed, I could not access my lens zoom function, so I figured, I'll just use the body armor. Bad mistake. It is too bulky, and blocks the use of a tripod. In order to use a tripod, I had to remove the entire armor, or it would not let me screw in the base. The idea is solid, but the execution is faulty. Until they come up with a better solution, I will have to do without. The product has been returned. Rating: - Not good Th armor feels akward on the camera, It is very lose on some areas. The lens ring is for a particular diameter. Rating: - Excellet fit for 40D body but the Len Armor does not fit The body armor fits the camera very well. It does move a little bit and I am thinking about putting something like a two side tape to fix it in place. However, the Len Armor is way too small for the 72mm lens I got from the kit. I got the Canon 40D EF 28-135 IS USM Kit. The len armor looks to be for lenses which are 52mm or even smaller. This was not described anywhere on the product page or on the box. Otherwise, I would give it a 5 star. Rating: - Nice idea though Pros may not like it so much Excellent protection, grip, functional value.
