I use Kronung coffee with the CoffeeDuck in my Senseo. When I first bought my Senseo I would buy the coffee pods. I quickly came to the conclusion that this was an expensive way to make a coffee and there had to be a better way. I purchased the CoffeeDuck and haven't looked back. It is used every day without a problem. It is easy to empty and clean. The Kronung Coffee I purchase is pre-ground and seems to be of the right granule to suit CoffeDuck and machine. I would recommend this product without hesitation.

I do use this a lot, but not the way the instructions say. I found that tiniest fleck of stray coffee on the lip of the duck creates leaks. Often major leaks. Like everybody else I didn't like the loss of foam, but found the coffee tasted richer than with the pods.
What I finally hit on doing was putting a large scoop of coffee in the duck and then placing a moistened pod on top of it. That solved the seal problem and the coffee still tastes better than with the pods alone.

I bought one of these and while I appreciate the ease of fill and clean compared to the eco pad, the foam was pretty much non-existent. I actually threw mine out because I never used it - the froth is the whole point. I get an excellent foam with the eco pads.

After having bought the CoffeeDuck, used it, and become disappointed with it, - I am in love with it again. I LOVE the Senseo dark roast coffee pods, they taste like coffee in Holland, but they are NOT cheap. All hands down - If you like this type of coffee flavor - go to Ikea and buy a bag of their ground espresso coffee. It is FAR cheaper than the coffee pods. Ikea's espresso coffee is ground and roasted from beans in the Netherlands, and from what I can tell, may actually be Douwe Egberts coffee. The best part is the crema - it is rich and thick - just like the coffee pod. It must have something to do with the way coffee is ground there.
Go out and buy some Ikea ground espresso !!!!!

This item saves me so much money every single day! Senseo pods are very expensive. Now I buy whatever coffee I'm feeling like having and use the coffeeduck refillable adapter. Make sure to not overfill or your coffee will end up all over the countertop!
