We bought this for our son to target practice. It is small and easy for him to use. It isn't the "best" airsoft gun out there but it is also $3. It works well for his 1st target practice gun and for him to learn gun safety rules with.

I bought this item and immediately had problems. The 6MM bb's would get stuck in the chamber. This occured with the ammo supplied and the Crossman amm I purchased. This happened so often. The last time, I could not get the jammed BB to come out. I ended up dumping the AK-997 (AK = All Krap) in tha garbage.
DO NOT BUY THIS OR YOU'LL SE SORRYYY!!!

the gun doesnt look like in the picture the entire tip is orange its very weak not worth the 8 dollars I paid

This gun shipped to me a few days ago got here nice and fast and was EXACTLY as pictured, which was it's only pro. I opened it up and as an airsoft enthusiast I was not surprised to see it have a range at an average of 12 feet. It also shoot at an amazing sonic boom of 46 FPS. Thats horrible. I quickly shot myself in the leg and found that it did not hurt one bit and a sensual pinch from my girlfriend would be more of a pain. The bb's are brittle and small (seemed less then .12 ?). Gun is also brittle plastic literately crumbled in my hands. For 1 cent it seemed a steal but this one went right into the trash. I recommended not purchasing this gun but to look for a real high quality one rated at 300 FPS or higher. Now all I have left to do is try to get a refund...
