I'm generally very happy with Amazon's service and shipping times, but this was flat out frustrating. I ordered the iPod on September 5 and when the ordered was confirmed, I noticed a far away shipping date of late October. Still, it was at a good price, and it wasn't a terrible rush. 2 days ago, I received an email saying I just wasn't going to be getting the iPod because "We are sorry to report that we will not be able to obtain (it)"
This is obnoxious. I mean really? Why is it even still listed here if they are unable to obtain it. It needs to be marked as UNAVAILABLE. Total amazon fail.

I have used several MP3 players, but this is my first iPod. It is so small and it clips right on to my clothing or my hat. I run with it all the time. The memory size is perfect. I can go days before listening to the same song twice. And it is so easy to use! I was intimidated by the whole iTunes thing, but it is really easy to use. I can load up my iPod in seconds with MP3's from my computer and I can easily search and buy songs I like for a very reasonable price. Now that I have my iPod Shuffle, I'll never go back to an MP3 player.

This is the second ipod shuffle I have owned. The first was a gift and lasted two years.
Nothing lasts forever, so I replaced the 'worn out' one with a new one. (It stopped working.)
For such a tiny instrument, the sound is incredible.

I love it. It holds between 150 and 200 songs, which is all I need for running. The newer version has the controls on the earphones, which is bad if you hate earbuds like I do, so I'd recommend this version unless you're okay with using the earphones that come with it. I definitely recommend this for all the other runners out there. I also love that even in shuffle mode, you can go back and replay a song (or even the song before that one), which most mp3 players with a shuffle function can't do.

I was happy the ipod came in like-new condition, with all the original paperwork and wires.
