mine came also without a "swiss quartz" label. returned the watch right away - it is not worth $100.
also - just an FYI - Stuhrling includes a little card in the package saying that if you write 5-star review on amazon.com they will extend your warranty. so much for those few 5-star reviews here...

I'd like to choose a black one, but it's not in store, so I take this white one. I just recieve it today, it seems well, except one things. There is no sign of "Swiss Quartz", and in the instruction manual it is said that the movement of this watch is quartz, but not swiss quartz. I don't know if there are any differenct between them, just feel some dispointed about that.
Rating:  - A total disappointment
I bought this watch based on the positive comments of the different consumers on this site. Since I am in Canada, I had to pay an extra $50 (shipping + custom) to get it. I am really disappointed by this watch. It does not look as on the picture. The one I received does not have the mention "Swiss Quartz" on it, but the biggest problem is that it loses 1 min every 1 hour. From the time accuracy aspect, this it is the worst watch I have ever had. It is even worse than the cheap $10 ones. Don't buy this item.
Rating: - a classic watch at a reasonable price
An excellent purchase, it is both simple and elegant. The large watch face facilitates identifying the time, the majestic movements of the hour and minutes hands speaks to superior watch mechanisms. The absence of a second hand enhances its stylistic qualities. Its thiness translates into a lightness on the wrist; it is appropriate for any occasion, be it casual or formal.
My only misgiving has been the two brief stoppages; a jeweller ascribed it to a slight displacement of the battery during the delivery.
