As the title states, it just suddenly stopped working. Inserting it into my camcorder now just results in a prompt to format the card ... everytime. All old data was lost too, which for a 16GB care just means losing even more data at once. I'm going to stick with Sandisk brand from now on.

So far this memory card has been reliable used in my Zoom H4n handy recorder.

The Transcend SDHC 16 GB Class 6 memory card offers both great speed & reliability for relatively little money Transcend 16 GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card TS16GSDHC6. I purchased two before my 14-day trip to Australia this October - and both worked quickly & flawlessly - whether I was using the cards around the dry and dusty deserts near Uluru in "The Outback", or photographing snorkelers along the Great Barrier Reef near Hayman Island. Both cards operated perfectly every time - holding over 600 RAW + 600 JPEG files, per card, from my Leica D-LUX 3 pocket camera. In all cases my huge RAW camera files were always written to the cards quickly and without error, as you might expect from quality, Class 6 storage media. If you intend to save large RAW photo-files - and you also want a very quick and reliable SDHC card for a very inexpensive price - then this card is the one for you!! I highly recommend it, based on my recent Australian experience.

bought this card and it lasted about a month and a half, just became unreadable all of the sudden, good thing I got most of the pictures off!

Ordered three of these memory cards which were used in three separate devices (digital camcorder, DSLR, laptop). All three cards died within a week of usage. Lost all my videos and photos. Amazon + ButterflyPhoto refused to compensate for or replace the defective cards! BUYER BEWARE!
