![]() Rating: - Good for the moneyWe picked up the HP F4280 for it's multifunction and compactness. It prints well and doesn't take up much room. We read other reviews about the poor quality in scanning and we would have to agree. It is a decent scanner for documents but not so much for pictures. For the money we are not disappointed, but we are also not impressed. Rating: - USB cable MISSINGI was very disappointed to discover upon opening the package that the setup guide tells you that if the USB cable is not included in the package (which you have to have to use this) that you MUST BUY ONE SEPARATELY. WTF? No USB cable was included, and that makes me quite upset. Rating: - Very good multi-functionThe printer works very well. It has a short start-up time and prints the pages quickly. Very good quality. The scan-directly-to-print feature is really nice and works flawlessly. Rating: - Basic but sufficientIve had this printer a few months and no problems at all. It is a basic printer/scanner that is very well layed out and compact. Hey, for about 50 bucks or under, you cant go wrong on this one. Rating: - Well functioning 3-in-1 unit. The first thing to say is that this machine is not for heavy use printing/copying. It is designed for occasional and brief use. It scans a brilliant image of even smaller images and makes them transferrable to the internet as jpeg type files, or just about any other type of file that you want to save. The printing time is slow but the actual print is nice and functional for the black and white. I haven't tried to print in color yet but I'd bet that it is even slower. That's fine for me, though, because I don't plan to use that function of this unit all that often or very much when I do use it. Remember that when you buy a product to think carefully about why you are purchasing that product. Machines aren't all alike and if you count on $500 quality for $80 then you will not meet your expectations most of the time. That's not the manufacturer's fault. But, consider this product for the sake of the kind of use to which I will put it. This is a good machine. It's nicely setup physically with intuitive controls. The software takes a bit of time to load onto the computer, but otherwise I see no problems developing from this machine in the foreseable future. The only thing I'm actually angry about is having to buy my own separate USB cable to hook it to the computer (it does ... Read More Browse for similar items by category:
