Product Description: One of the most versatile airguns on the market, the Crosman 2100B multi-pump pneumatic shoots either steel BBs or .177 lead pellets. With 200 BB rounds in the gun's reservoir (17 BBs in the magazine), you'll be shooting for hours without having to reload. Just pump and shoot! If you prefer to shoot pellets, the 2100B can do that, too (loaded one at a time). As both a repeater and a single-shot, this rifle offers adaptability not found in most other airguns. The 11mm dovetail makes scoping the gun an easy project. Both BBs and pellets can be used to shoot targets, although steel BBs should never be shot at metal targets and objects.Pump the 2100 B from 2 to 10 pumps, depending on the distance you're shooting. Light in weight, this full-size powerhouse launches pellets up to 725 fps and BBs up to 755 fps.Never pump your 2100B more than 10 pumps!... Don't forget to click on the AMMO link for a list of recommended BBs and pellets. The ACCESSORIES link has a list of scopes, fun targets and safety gear you'll want for your rifle.... Versatile multi-pump pneumatic shoots either steel BBs (755 fps) or .177 pellets (725 fps). Wood-grain synthetic stock....

I absolutely love this gun. The heft, the accuracy, the tru-glow site and most of all the power. I got this rifle at a local store about 5 years ago or so and it was by far the best [...] bucks I've ever spent. Rite from the get go I wanted a airgun that was inexpensive, realistic, accurate and had variable power. This gun fit the mould and then some. I use it primarily as a hunting/pest control rifle but is just as fun to target shoot with it. I left the gun completely stock I just painted the stock and forearm OD green. I've taken many animals with this gun like squirrels, chipmunks, rats, woodchucks, rabbits, skunks, and raccoons. This thing is durable! Don't be afraid to use this gun, mine has been dropped, stepped on, left in the rain, caked in mud and every time you pull that trigger it will fire. And don't be afraid to over cock this I've pumped mine up 20 or so times and it worked fine and wow is it powerful at that point! But I will say this Get pointed pellets dont use BB's unless your just plinking. What else can I say if you got the money, get this rifle. It's absolutely worth it.

I've had my Crosman 2100 for the last 25 years or more. In my youth, I must have put thousands of pellets through this thing. When I put a scope on it, I discovered just how accurate it could be. The gun is well built and feels a lot more like you're packing a .22 rifle than an air gun. One thing that I think needs clarified from some of the other reviewers is that if you really want to experience the power and accuracy this rifle offers, use pellets...never us BB's. I found that there was little accuracy with BB's. But once I started using only pellets, and installed a scope on the rifle, I found the accuracy vastly improved. If you're in the market for an air rifle, I suggest trying to put your hands on the ones you're interested in before purchasing. Many of today's models are cheap, flimsy junk. If the new Crosman 2100's are anything like the one I bought in the late 70's, you'll enjoy it and have it for many years to come.

The Crosman 2100 air rifle was bb gun of my youth--I have owned two of them over the last 25 years or so. It is a relatively inexpensive multi-pump repeater that shoots both BB's as well as pellets. If accuracy is your thing, stick with pellets and you will be quite satisfied. Negatives? This rifle has always had a problem feeding BB's into the spring-fed magazine, but you can get around this issue by not loading as many into the reservoir. Pumping the Crosman 2100 up to ten pumps (maximum power) does require some muscle but if you love shooting this airgun as much as I do, you will quickly develop the correct muscles to do the job!

This rifle is very hard to reach the maxium pump power. I'm 6'3", 225lbs, I'm no whimp. Loading BB's in the magazine is a pain. The rifle is accurate, but you have to be a very experienced shooter to obtain the accuracy. 775 FPS, I don't think so!

We bought this airgun to replace an old, cheap airgun and chose this gun because it sounded like it had some power. It doesn't. You can easily watch the BB as it casually crosses the narrow parking lot heading for a plastic bottle. That's with 10 pumps. We're still using the old airgun while this one remains in a box in the garage.
