Product Description: ASSORTED COLORS Sea-Band for Travel Sickness PLANES, TRAINS, BOATS, CARS, COACHES AND EVEN AT THE FUNFAIR! Try them - they really work! Travelling the world - for business or pleasure - is now easier than ever. But whether your journey is by air, road, rail or sea it can be a miserable experience if you suffer from travel sickness. The nausea, dizziness and vomiting caused by any form of transport are triggered by a confusion of messages received in the brain. Although you may be sitting motionless in a seat, your senses tell you that you are actually moving. Contrary to common belief, the resulting nausea is not "all in the mind" and is experienced by children and adults alike. Early signs of travel sickness include quietness, headaches and lethargy, often followed by uncontrollable vomiting. Drug-free remedies Anti-sickness drugs may have unwanted side-effects such as drowsiness and may not be suitable for children or for some adults. Yet there are other ways to help prevent nausea: In cars or buses, sit at the front and always face the direction in which you are travelling. Don't look out of side windows and focus on the horizon. Breathe in fresh air - open a window or stay outside on a ship's deck. Don't eat a heavy or greasy meal before travelling. Keep children occupied - play an "I spy" game for example. Most importantly, wear Sea-Bands during your journey.

Product worked for morning sickness but only for a while. Had to apply additional constant pressure for sustained results.

These Sea Bands helped me with my Chemo treatment nausea. I was told that placement of the knob in the bands is very important and to use your own 3 middle fingers to mark down from the major line of your wrist -the third finger, I think that is your index finger and it should be where the knob is placed in the center of your wrist/forearm. They also told me to "tweak" it from time to time by pressing it into the wrist. It's easier to show than tell here. I wore them a lot. But had times when I just had to have them off as the indentions got uncomfortable. Watch out and perhaps invest in two packs of them slippery little things got away from me more times than I'd like to admit. I hope this helps others dealing with Cancer Treatment- I had a very rough time with my treatments. This product did help but it was claiming promises from The Word of God and God's Grace that really saw me through.

I'm in my 7th week of pregnancy and started to feel nauseous ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I wasn't vomiting, but I was pretty miserable. I read the reviews and didn't want to wait for these to be shipped so I ran out to my pharmacy and picked them up right away.
I am 90% better when using them and I can deal with the other 10%. What a relief! It took about 12 hours (overnight) to realize the full benefits.
I put them on both wrists as indicated in the instructions and I barely know they are there. They are snug in order to be effective, but they are not too tight or uncomfortable. I even wear them while sleeping at night with no problem. When I take them off, I do have a indent where the "button" is, but it goes away within a couple of hour. But, they work so well, I don't plan on taking them off until I'm through my first trimester.
You need to make sure they are in the exact right spot or they are not going to work. Place your three middle fingers on your wrist at the base of your hand. Then place the band so that the button is in the middle of the 3rd finger from your hand. It needs to be in between the two tendons.

I have always suffered from really bad motion sickness, and these work miracles. I always thought there was nothing that would work to stop my motion sickness, and so I tried to avoid anything that would make me sick. I was in Scotland and really wanted to go on a cruise of Loch Ness, so I went to the pharmacy and saw these, and decided to try them. The loch waters were very rough but I didn't even feel nauseous! If I wasn't wearing them, I am sure I would have been sick and felt awful the whole time. Ever since, I wear them any time I want to go on a boat, as well as when driving in the mountains. The only downside is they are a little uncomfortable for me because I don't like wearing anything on my wrists, but I would much rather wear these than get motion sickness!

This didn't help my wife's pregnancy-related nausea (it can hardly be called morning sickness when it comes and goes all day!) But for $8, it was worth a shot. They were really tight and they hurt her wrists, so unless you have small wrists this may be a problem for you.
But like I said, not too expensive so give it a try if dramamine isn't an option.
