Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - LaserLyte .17 to .22 Caliber Bore Sighter I had great expectations of this product based on other reviews I read here. However I soon became very disappointed with the product. This was because the sighter wouldn't turn on properly. It was defective out of the box. The design of the on-off switch is so hoaky, a caveman could have designed a better switch. It looks like there is poor contact of the batteries to the laser. And yes the polarity of the batteries were per the supplied instructions. The laser is very dim, it wont even show up when its 6 inches from a wall in a dark room. And this is supposed to be visible at 100 yards in daylight no less? You can't prove that by this product. I even tried a new set of batteries and that didn't work either. If this product was made in the USA then shame on Laserlyte company, it gives the rest of us Americans a bad name. The sighter seems to be metallic which is good but the on-off switch is cheap plastic and poorly designed. And I just got it today and was going to sight in the scope on my air rifle too. I am very disppointed with the product. Its a piece of junk as far as I'm concerned and its going back to Amazon tommorrow. BTW this boresighter uses 3 A-76 or G13 batteries. If you need replacements don't buy it from Laserlyte, go to WalMart, Target or any other store instead. Look for Eveready Energizer batteries number 357. It replaces 303, A76, EPX76, AG13, LR1154, LR44 and SR445W. Any of those battery numbers will work in this unit. Its the right physical size as well as the correct voltage the product requires. Rating: - Laser Bore Sighter The subject bore sight is a giant leap forward in comparison to other methods by trial and error. It really works, priced right, delivered as advertised. Rating: - Great Required Item. Easy to use. Saves time and money. Switches on these, I own 3 bore sights, always feel a bit weird but they work Great. I own 3, 2 of this exact type, different sizes and a third for my 12ga. A required tool! Rating: - Buy it. Let's put it this way. I just got rid of a squirrel at 100+yrds, with iron sights. 'Nuff said. Rating: - Pellet Rifle Laser Bore Sight The laser bore sight was the best thing ever invented when it came to sighting in a rifle scope. This sight was good priced, easy to use, and dead accurate. Highly recommended!
