I have owned this fan for three years and it works perfectly. When the stove temperature gets above 100F degrees it automatically begins working. The hotter the stove, the faster the fan spins. The technology which converts heat to electrical energy is fascinating. No power cords or batteries. Great fun and practical to send warm air into the room.

I spent three months camping this winter and the fan on the woodstove let me stay outside reading much longer than I would have been able to stay out otherwise.

The ecofan is fun to watch. I knew before I bought that it would barely blow any air around the room, but I wanted it anyway. My stirling cycle fan requires a push to get it started and doesn't blow much air either, but the ecofan starts on it's own. I'm glad that I have this toy.

I love this fan - it makes my living area warm up much faster than before I got the fan. The fan directs the warmth from my wood stove directly into the lower areas my log cabin, rather than letting the hot air rise into the high ceiling. It was worth every penny.

This product runs on my woodstove at anything over 200F. The corners of the room were cold without this fan. Now the whole room has a nice even temperature, and the fact that there's no running costs is excellent!
Truly worth buying to get the most from your wood stove.
