I am by no means an expert on sights of this type, but this particular item seems to be well constructed, has a good finish and mounted to my flattop receiver just fine. The one I got has no loose parts, well build, sturdy, and the silky smooth and precise operation of the windage and elevation knobs was better than sights that cost me over $100. I was impressed with the make, fit and finish of this $25 rear sight. When other sights sell in excess of $100, this is hard to beat. the weaver mount locks in tight and the elevation and windage adjustments give very good tactile feedback. 2 different sight options make this very versatile. it is just like the rear sight on an A2 upper without the carry handle so you can mount a scope on your flat top AR with a little riser. great deal. Since I just got it in the mail I have not had a chance to field test it but I do expect it to perform quite well. see more
