Was looking for a airsoft replica G36 rifle and this fit the bill. Price was right for the features. Have had for a few days now and can say its quite a bit of fun. Easy to use, nice select fire, no mechanical isssues at all thus far. The 'silencer' is a bit silly and the "red dot" sight is fairly worthless. Would not sight in at all, the adjustment buttons moved the dot around, but not in a L/R and U/D manner, seemed random. I own several 'real' red dot sights (Burris FFII, Eotech 512, a 30mm tasco, and 40mm Barska) so I know what to expect, but even on a 'toy' sight, you'd think it might adjust at least a bit. Recticle dot was quite bright. Too bad it was not usable.
According to the listing, the gun was supposed to come with some form of 'Laser Sight', which the included manual alos shows. However, mine arrived without any laser. Written to the vendor to see what can be done, but not really expecting much for a sub-$40 purchase. Just wanted to see if it was worthwhile or not. I have an old B-Square laser laying about so I can put that on there if I really want one.
As far as accuracy, at 15 yards it is pretty consistant for a plastic pellet! I can get them on a 5" target at that range (with a few oddball rounds that just spiral off into nowhere...). Full-auto is fun, but accuracy def takes a hit.
Overall I'm pleased with this toy. If I was really going to play competatively, I'd go for one of the all metal replicas, but this is fun for the purpose I bought it for, and my son is really liking 'target shooting' in the bar yard.

This gun is a good buy for someone who enjoys airsoft but is not willing to pay over $[...]. The gun is relitivly strong the only problem I have had is the folding stock. The folding stock it self is not the problem the part that broke is the part that holds the stock out and prevents it from folding. But other than that this gun is definitlly the best AEG under $[...].

Good gun, but doesn't shoot very far or fast, but its a good gun for a starter. Dosen't jam, hurts kinda, but only holds 50 rounds, so i never use it on fully auto. And it should be called the G36-c

I've always loved the G36 lineup and just recently got into airsofting starting off with springs and finally moving into AEG's. This was my first buy and I fell for it...did come with all its accessories including the laser which at the time Amazon had shown that it didn't so I was happy. Took it out to try it and to my disappointment the accuracy really isn't all that great (even with the mock silencer on since a couple previous posts claim it helps a bit). The red cross sight is a joke and there is no way of adjusting the ones it comes with (Swiss Arms Softair RED DOT Sight -- yes I bought a seperate one from a retail store thinking mine was busted, wrong). However, it might turn out to be okay indoors atleast but as far as outdoors...unless you're shooting from 10 feet away, consider your bb's money down the drain.
I wouldn't recommend the buy despite what all the other 4/5* reviews say since they're what convinced me to go ahead with my purchase but for a $30 gun...maybe if it's for the younger kids (even though this thing is a little too big)
