Editorial Review:

Album Description:
The world's most famous adult film star, Jenna Jameson stars in this thrilling zombie adventure. In the not too distant future a secret government re-animation chemo-virus gets released into conservative Sartre, Nebraska and lands in an underground strip club. As the virus begins to spread, turning the strippers into 'Super Zombie Strippers' the girls struggle with whether or not to conform to the new 'fad' even if it means there's no turning back. They're not just strippers...They're Zombie Strippers !!

Amazon.com:
Get yourself a snappy title and a couple of marquee names (however disreputable) and you might just snag your no-budget movie a national release--as Zombie Strippers colorfully proves. The names in question belong to porn star Jenna Jameson and Freddie Krueger himself, Robert Englund, both of whom look quite comfortable in this sleazy milieu. As the title suggests (well, 'suggests' might be a mild word), there has been an outbreak of the undead in a strip club, with strippers actually improving their onstage antics after they've become zombies. (Given the number of implants on display, it's a wonder the zombies didn't keel over from silicone poisoning.) Englund is the proprietor of the place, Jameson is a star dancer, and a couple of actresses in the 'nice girl' roles don't have to take their tops off, although almost everybody else does. Writer-director Jay Lee fills the movie with political gags and a bunch of philosophy references (Jameson reads Nietzsche, the locale is Sartre, Nebraska), all of which play like a lame attempt to distinguish his movie as something other than a puerile horror-comedy. Only thing is, when you try to disguise the fact that you've made a puerile horror-comedy, it kind of takes the oomph out of both the horror and the comedy. The political jibes are about as feeble as those in Southland Tales, but at least Zombie Strippers is shorter. Shot on video, it looks atrocious, but perhaps that doesn't matter very much. --Robert Horton

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Funny & gory zombie film
This has plenty of violence & sick ideas in it, and some great lines. There's a lot of blood and some of the best gags I've seen in a horror movie for a long time. The gore is OTT in places but it all works well & is a very entertaining DVD.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Horrific!
Enjoyed the humorously horrific film which keeps you laughing and horrified at the same time. For those who want to laugh and be somewhat disgusted at the same time, this movie is for them.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Instant Grindhouse Classic! Weird and Wild! Zombie Strippers Delivers the Goods!
Zombie Strippers delivers the goods in guns, gore, girls, and guts. There certainly are some satirical elements within Zombie Strippers, but this puppy was not made to make a political statement; it was made to entertain gore hounds, who enjoy a laugh-filled bloodbath.

The dialogue and acting were pure grind house well served up by the cast, most especially by Robert Englund and Jenna Jameson (the new Scream Queen). This irreverent, witty, weird, and very watchable DVD is not only a great party film, but will stand the test of time as an instant gore classic.

The girls of Zombie Strippers are in great physical shape, and they even look good when they start rotting away (which is disturbing). Each stripper brings her own personality into the edgy world of this illegal stripclub. The female rivalry has a ring of truth, and the eventual cat fight is worth the wait.

Anyone who gave Zombie Strippers a bad review simply does not understand the genre. Though a few of the creature FX are off the mark, most of the FX are awesome. Gooey guts, brains, and CGI come together into a nice disgusting soup that looks so gross that the viewer could almost smell it.

The action of Zombie Strippers moves along at a perfect pace. All elements of exploitation are firmly in place, and Jenna Jameson certainly has a nice flair for comic delivery. Anyone who enjoys the world of spatter, gorgous girl, and belly laughs will want to add Zombie Strippers to the list ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - 'B' Movie Gore-fest
Listen, Zombie Strippers is no masterpiece of film. It's not a movie that takes itself very serious and anyone planning on watching the film should understand that.

Something of a political satire and zombie gore-fest with plenty of T&A thrown into the mix, the film begins with a government experiment gone wrong. A "special forces" team known as Z-Squad is charged with cleaning up the mess when the government created zombie virus escapes the lab and infects the "ladies" at a local strip club.

The star of the club, Kat - kind of like an Alpha-Stripper - is the first to be infected, and is played by Jenna Jameson. Going against the popular portrayal of zombies as slow moving, mindless consumers of human flesh, Kat actually becomes a better stripper once infected. With her new found undead dance moves Kat quickly gathers a massive following in her male audience. Much to the chagrin of the other dancers the audience seems only interested in Kat. Jealousy ensues and the other dancers find means of becoming infected themselves.

What was once a quiet Nebraskan strip-club becomes a major hit with the local male populace. The only problem? The zombie strippers consume their human clients. The undead start piling up and soon it's up to Z-Squad to come exterminate the threat.

Overall the effects and make-up artistry are actually surprisingly good. The zombies look believably undead and gore filled scenes belie the films low budget. The laughable shortcoming ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - It Kind of Scares You & Turns You On at the Same Time!
This review is for; Zombie Strippers (Unrated Special Edition)

The name of this film says it all and this is clearly the type of movie you will either love or hate. From a satirical point of view this film pokes fun at politics, military and the whole horror/action genre with some gratuitous nudity as topping on the cake!

In a nut shell this film is about a zombie virus that was a scientific, experimental downfall of prolonging US soldiers to fight in Iraq by re-animating the dead soldiers so they can keep fighting. Satirically, the continuing Iraq War is the result of President Bush's numerous re-elections (thank God for Obama I guess!). A small commando unit called the "Z" squad is in charge of securing the experiments, but one of the soldiers gets infected and escapes to a nearby gentle-men's club called the Rhino (yeah, a stripper bar would the first place I would escape to also!).

The infected soldier infects one of the female dancers. The infection has more of a mild effect on females as opposed to males, so the infected female (played by porn-queen, Jenna Jameson) continues to perform and actually gets more supporting applause by the predominately, male audience. Robert Englund (of Freddie Kreuger fame) is the club owner that sees his business excel by the zombie stripper and the other strippers start to succumb to the zombie sickness one by one as they see its unusual effect on the crowd. The male audience gets larger and smaller at the same time because ... Read More
