I just received The Incredible Hulk: The Complete Series. I watched the pilot so far, and the video looks great considering how long ago the show was on television. It looks just about as good as you can get TV content to look on DVD. The DVD menus are well done.
With regard to the content of the series, I assume most are buying the whole series because they are fans of the series.
For those who aren't fans (plot spoiler of the pilot here, though), but are of the movies, the show was and is now on DVD a much deeper story than any TV or big screen adaptation of the comic character The HULK. You have a story starting with Banner having a dream which shifts to a nightmare. First, he is having a dream of good times with the love of his life, but it turns to a nightmare when it shows the car accident that actually happened. He is only injured slightly, but his love if trapped in the car and David makes desperate attempts to get her out. From there, after he wakes from the nightmare, we go to a story of him feeling inadequate because he could not save his loved one but so many others have through a hidden strength. After some dangerous experimentation (not very scientific at all) to alleviate his perceived inadequacies, he goes through one of those end of work day evenings that have angered us all. The Incredible Hulk:The Complete Series.This is my review. First of all I would like to start off by saying That i don't agree with anyone about Universal Releasing the entire series of the Hulk as a gimmick to squeeze more money out of any buyer that is willing to collect this wonderful box set of the most popular TV shows in history. I think it's such nonsense to constantly complain about this show not be released to DVD or plaming Universal for what can't be controlled, and or also plaming them for what they we're probably going to do anyway,that was release the Hulk in box sets and the enitre series in one box set. Com'on everybody...Be happy.The Hulk is finaly here on DVD and I am enjoying every minute of it. Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno and Jack Colvin rest in peace. As to the fans. ENJOY. I know i will. Just don't make me angry. ps. Universal,Excellent Job on this one,why? Because. I would rather you take my money for these Hulk box sets and entire box set than to settle for less.I know what i'm doing, i know what i'm buying. I am a DVD/Video collector, so it doesn't matter to me at all.

I agree with the second review I read. Universal also has never released 2 other outstanding Sci-Fi series in the US. Six Million dollar Man Bionic Woman.
Good Times video has also pulled a fast one. After all the Little House series is available now they do the complete series.
#3. The hottest series of the 90's Baywatch still has no complete series in the US.
#4. The Smallville 7 season came out during its usual September time frame, even though the strike shortened the season's episodes

It's nice to know that this set is being released after the first four seasons already hit the street. Another gimmick from Universal to squeeze our hard-earned wages from our pockets? You bet!!!
Before Universal announced the release of the 1st season, they released a fan favorite set entitled the Ultimate Collection. This collected the very best of the entire series knowing that the fans would clear the shelves. Seeing that they struck gold, they went ahead and released season 1. Season 2 followed, along with seasons 3 & 4, and not a word of a complete series box set until the damaged was done. Why? Simple. Milk the people dry!
Hats off, Universal! I just hope you have enough space in your warehouses for all those complete series box sets that nobody's gonna buy.
Rating: - UNIVERSAL GETS READY TO HULK OUT WITH HULKING BOX SET
This set and a new complete Knight Rider series will be released on the same day. Oct 21, 2008. So far seasons 1-4 total 18 single sided discs. Season 5 will also be released on the same day. since it was only 6 episodes I believe it will be a 2 disc set. This will total the 20 discs this set claims to contain. So if you don't have the four already released seasons then I recommend this set. If you have them just get season 5. Unless more bonus features are announced, I see no reason for a double dip.
