This product is fabulous. I purchased one for my car and my son's car. I also recommended this product to my other son, who agrees that it really does the job.

Great for using your GPS and not having to attach it to the windshield where criminals look for the telltale suction cup mark. I wouldn't be without this mount when using my GPS.

The beanbag comes to the rescue! No signs of GPS in your car if you quickly hide this, the GPS and cable. Many places, people are breaking into cars for the few dollars they can get for your unit if ANY signs of GPS are visible. This unit is reasonable price and arrived promptly.

My TomTom has not fallen off the stand and it has not tipped over but after only about 30 days use the stickiness on the bottom seems to be getting less sticky so the whole stand slides on the dashboard if I turn or stop with any force at all. The only saving grace is that I do not accelarate so fast that it falls on the floor but it does slide to the front and sides on turns and stops. I have a similar device for my Garmin (now in use in my wife's car) which after 1.5 years still never slid even an inch so it is definitely possible to have enough tackiness for the device to stay in place if designed right.

Since I work downtown in a meduim-sized midwestern city, hiding my electronic gear before leaving the car is a priority. Removing a suction cup every day is hard and still leaves the telltale "break into me" ring on your window. This dashboard mount has been great. The triangular shape helps it conform to the dash. I fits both my TomTom XL and Siruis Starmate with no problems. I've never had either device jump or fall of the dash. If your suction mount is too low (I'm guessing less than 3/4" clearance) you'll have trouble with installation. Also, if your dash is extremely sloped, you might need to push the mount back occasionally.
