I got this charger about a year ago. I was working well for a while. But one time I pluged my ipod touch in to it and the screen went blank and wasn't working. So I went to the apple store and got a new one. Today i tried pluging it in with this charger and the same thing happend. That's 2 ipod touches busted by this charger. Now im going to the apple store with the charger to complain. One thing i learned is not to ever trust this charger because all it will cause is abusted ipod.

I read other reviews that this would not work with the new Ipod Touch - but it works just fine with my new ipod touch 3rd generation (not sure if we got sent different products). When I plug it in, I hear the appropriate ring on my ipod and it shows the charging icon on the screen. I am able to use my ipod while it is charging although its a bit awkward to put the headphones at the same time because of the wide plug in base (I usually take the headphones off before charging it for this reason). I have been using this charger for more than a month now (almost daily) and it works just fine with my new 3rd generation ipod touch. The connection is not as sturdy as the apple cable that connects to my computer, but it works just fine. My only annoyance is a bright light that the plug in has.... I use it in my night stand and the light bothered me.

This charger seems to work fine for my iPhone 3Gs. I purchased it to replace the original charger I left in a hotel room.
The cord is the same length as the original Apple charger. I would prefer it to be a foot or 2 longer.
The charger has a red LED that is lit when it is plugged in. This is somewhat annoying and unnecessary. I charge the phone on my nightstand when I go to bed and the LED is pretty bright.

This is one of the best deals you can find for an ipod wall charger. It's great for travel and home use.
I've used it about a dozen times, and it still works great. It's completely compatible with all of my ipod products, including ipod nano and ipod touch.
It's also a great power saver. When you use your computer just to charge an ipod, you're wasting a massive amount of electricity.
It charges our ipods about twice as fast as our computer...win!
There's also a bright red LED on the charger that lets you know it's plugged in properly.

Okay people, just for the record...
This charger, sold by BargainCell, fits the ipod Touch 2nd Generation only, and NOT the latest ipod Touch 3G...let's get that straight!
It has a tight, secure fit (no jiggles)into the Touch 2nd Gen and charges right away (you hear the Apple "Jwwpuuup" sound)and see the Logo...that means that it is working/charging!
