This dock makes it quick and easy to do a backup. I just drop the drive into the dock, open the software and select backup now, then pop the drive back into my briefcase for the trip back to the office. Since I use the drive to safeguard my important files at home by keeping the drive at work, this makes for an easy and portable solution. I haven't had to do a restore yet (thankfully!), but I am happy with it so far.

This product is great and very easy to use. just connect it and leave it in a corner of your desk and do your work in peace. Does not take space and give your desk a stylish look.

I love that this product makes it easier for me to use my external hard drive with my desktop. The only down side is the two USB cables needing to be plugged in!

The dock is a nice optional addition that enables you to directly plug your FreeAgent Go without worrying about the cables etc.
What i like more is the leather case that looks cool and also protects the portable drive while carrying it with you.
I couldn't figure out the usage of the second usb cable of the dock, i'm using it with only one usb plugged to my computer and it works just fine with only one usb. So don't worry about finding two identical usb ports...
The list price is a little bit hight but the price at amazon is reasonable for the product, recommended if you carry your freeagent go with you frequently.

I read all the reviews and figured that the product would work fine even with one USB port... well, it doesn;t on my laptop... probably because it's slightly old... and what's worse is I don't have two adjoining ports on my machine either...which means i can't use it at all! the case is nice though... i love the stylish look and feel and the whole idea of the dock and that's why i went for it..i wish its design was better and more widely usable...
