This seat is similar to many boosters except for one important added feature. Unlike other boosters, this one comes with an adjustable strap and a clip that is used to keep the shoulder belt at the proper height for the child. The strap and clip is not visible in the pictures, but the strap is black nylon and the clip is red plastic. The strap easily attaches to the seat on either side, so the seat can be placed on either side of the vehicle. The strap can quickly and easily be moved to the other side of the seat if the seat needs to be moved or placed in another vehicle. Adjusting the height of the clip is also a simple and easy matter.
Another nice feature is that the cup holders can be pushed under the seat if space is an issue or they are not needed. Both, one, or none need to be deployed at any time. My three-year old daughter could deploy the cup holder if she needed it, so it's not too difficult to slide out for use or to stow it if not needed.

Very easy to assemble. The twin cup holders are a nice touch too. Too bad the clip that holds the seat belt is not made to firmly latch on to the seat belt...

Bought this for my 3-year old daughter because it was compact and easy to ship on the plane. As long as your child is tall enough and of proper weight, this seat is really easy to use and sturdy as well. The price might be cheap for this booster but safety is not compromised.

It's not often that child car seats designers and manufacturers come with a product that is functional, sturdy, comfortable and seamless and with the highest safety ratings available. Add to that a great selection of colors and designs and you have a product Graco will have a very hard time to repeat and other manufacturers will scramble to imitate. This is the best toddler seat available in the market, unpretentious and yet with the highest quality and at a very affordable price.
Some people complain about the padding and I don't see how this will be different from the kid seating directly into the car seat and not on the booster. The padding on the booster is not less than what an average car seat padding or cushioning offers or even more. Who doesn't feel uncomfortable after seating on ANY car seat after four hours? Even the most comfortable seat will put any decent rear end to test after so much hours sitting. In any case, my daughter has never complained on feeling uncomfortable on this seat even on very long drives. Granted, every kid is different but remember, kid's very young bodies adapt much better to any position and what would seem uncomfortable to us it may be just fine for them. I would say ust test it and don't judge the padding before using it
In any case, I doubt you'll find another great booster seat at this price. I also have two of the high back models and they are the same greatness as this one but with the added benefits that if your child fall asleep, it will support her/his head from moving to the sides, great for long night time trips
Did I mentioned that removing the seat cover, washing it and installing it again is a breeze? I cannot praise this seat more, great job Graco!

product allows me to take my granddaughter in my mini-van. works fine. previously had to borrow my son's baclkess booster seat. his seat was the same graco car seat.
