it has a good sound, you'll have to get use to the silicon ear bud, its not as firm as, say skull candy, but its still good.
i just have one beef with it. it doesn't stay in my ear when i jog

I purchased these after much research into medium priced headphones. I had bought several 10-15 dollar pairs prior to this purchase. My big problem had been one side short outs.
So far, I am very pleased with my purchase. Straight out of the box sound was great. I know i read in here something about there being no high end acoustics. I too had this problem. Since these are isolating, they tend to define low-end more. All that is needed to correct for this problem in a change in eq (which is easily done on a computer, mp3 player or other playback devide). Now, these sound great. Don't expect the quality of a musician pair of isolation headphones like the shure ones, but you can expect them to sound like a top of the line everyday listening pair. That is what they are to me at least.
The isolation on these is great. I'm a drummer, and i have always had to wear a pair of construction earcovers over my headphones when playing in order to hear the music. With these, I turn my ipod to about 3/5 its limit and have the perfect mix of music and my own drumming.
To sum up, I would definately reccomend these if you are looking for an everyday headphone with high-end quality.

JBL Creature II 3-Piece Powered Speaker SystemThese speakers are good too. These earbuds are amazing. I am a middle school student and abuse my headphones a lot. Since I ride the bus home, I can daily use the noise canceling. Unlike other noise canceling headphones, They do not drain my iPod's battery any more than $10 headphones I get at best buy. The noise canceling is amazing, and I only hear people on the bus over my music if some girl next to me screams. :-) The buds that come with them fit my ear well, and if I go on a trip from a high altitude to a low one, I have to pull them out every hour or when i pull them out the buds stay in my ear because of how well the seal. The only thing better about these headphones noise canceling properties is the noise. Sit back and relax 'cause once I start talking about these headphones noise, it is like trying to slow a train with a feather.
Unlike other headphones which claim, "concert like sound" these trump them all. The bass is amazing, and the treble is a little high, but I can fix that with EQ on my iPod. Acoustic music is its only weak point, and during songs with acoustic guitar, the headphones emit a high pitched noise. For short periods of time a.k.a bus rides, it is ok, but for long trips a.k.a visiting relatives, it may give you a slight headache. These headphones offer amazing sound quality for the money. They are a bit bigger than they appear in the pictures but they are still great. Love them and I would defiantly recommend them to anyone.
