 Rating:  - Love this system!!This gaming system is great. It has plenty of game options. It is an internet browser. It has wi-fi. It has free skype! There are a ton of free game demos availible so you can play a lot of different games before you decide which ones you want. You can download most games without having to go to the store. You can download movies and comics. You can hook the PSP up to your TV or monitor and watch downloaded media on a bigger screen. You can download music, movies, pictures,comics, videos, games, and more. Get yourself at least a 4 gig memory card so you have plenty of storage room. It is just a ton of fun in a little handheld. I've put about a hundred hours on mine so far and I've had no freeze ups or problems and the battery lasts a long time. I love it. Rating:  - Factory Refurbished from Sony storeI bought a factory refurbished PSP-3000 from the Sony store when I was traveling. I did not buy it from Amazon.com. The sales clerk said it had a 90 day factory mail in warranty. It worked ok for a few weeks. I went online and downloaded the latest updates from the Sony webpage. The latest updates were version 6.20. Big mistake! A few days later, I started having problems. It wouldn't turn on. The power light would come on, but there was no video or no audio. I called the 800 number in the manual and spoke to the customer service rep. She informed me that Sony factory refurbished products ARE NOT COVERED UNDER ANY WARRANTY. Sony support is just horrible! I went online to look for a possible fix. There were hundreds of other PSP users who had the exact same problem. I tried every possible solution. I still have the green power light with no audio or video. Since I bought it when I was traveling, I can't take it back to the same store where I bought it. Now I have a 'brick' as the other online users call it. I will never buy another Sony factory refurbished product again. Warning - if you have a Sony PSP do not download the latest updates from the Sony website! Rating:  - More than a stress buster.I bought this from Amazon a few weeks ago. When ever I want to buy electronic goods, I run a complete research of the product by visiting websites and reading their reviews. Just to mention one such website: [...]. As far as I am concerned, the SONY PSP 3000 is an awesome handheld gaming console which you should definetly buy it if you are a serious gamer. Sure there are many other consoles like the DS LITE. But, I think SONY PSP is the best there is. The PSP boasts of a LARGE SCREEN, WI-FI capabilities, SKYPE, great graphics, sound, video playback. The product is very well designed especially for gaming purposes. This is as close you can get to a PS3 or a PS2. The system lasted long enough on a fully charged battery. The bottom line: "Best handheld gaming console". PROS: -Large display(4.3"), great graphics, weighs lighter than its previous versions. -Web browsing. -Has the Largest games collection for a handheld. -Play your PSP games on TV. -Can be used as a controller for PS3. -Good audio and video playback. -Customization (themes, wallpapers). -SKYPE. CONS: -The outer skin of the PSP is a fingerprint magnet. Though they disappear when wiped with a soft cloth. -Mandatory addons such as memory card, headphones, UMD game discs, USB cable or a card reader for file transferring do not come with the PSP pack and HAVE to be bought. Thus making it much more costlier. Rating: - The Best!We all love the PSP don't we? One of the best portable sytems. Even connect it to your PS3! I'm guessing this Core Pack only comes with the system itself, right? I wish I could get it considering that my PSP 1000 has an unknown virus! Has anyone ever heard of the RSS Sample Channel Virus? If you download the Sample Channel (from the RSS Channel) it comes with a fun little virus! The best part about it is that it won't let you use the RSS Channel, the Internet Radio, internet browser, connect to the internet, or connect to your PS3! Isn't that great?! I really wish I could order it but my mother would get mad at me if I did. Moral of the story, WHEN FIRST USING THE RSS CHANNEL AND IT ASKS YOU IF YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD THE SAMPLE CHANNEL, DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR ELSE YOU BE WELCOMED INTO MY WORLD. Worst part is, it's irreversible (I think). It must be considering the fact that I've looked everywhere on Google and YouTube for it and haven't found it. No one knows about it! I know this review is mostly unhelpful but it doesn't matter to me how many times you say it's unhelpful because that's true. Great system, buy it if you can, don't download that channel, and have fun. Rating: - Gotta love it, but not very comfortable.Worth the money because the graphics and sounds are top notch. The great sound can only be enjoyed with quality headphones, not the built-in speakers. The only complaint I have is that it's not very comfortable, but this thing is so cool that I have to give it the 5-star, but it's more like a 4.5-star product. God of War and Assassins Creed are highly recommended.
