I bought this desert eagle about 2 months ago for my son, thinking it would be awesome. He thought it was awesome for the 2 months it worked. 4 days ago the trigger stopped moving making the gun unable to fire, like it was in permanent safety, rendering it useless. At first he thought a bb was stuck in the barrel so he used a gun cleaning kit to try to unjam it, but it wasn't jammed. He is so mad it broke. He took really good care of it. There seems to be no warranty. Now he can't get a refund. Altogether, this is a terrible gun, a waste of $25.00. $25.00 is a lot, especially for an 11 year, for 2 months light use, maybe 200-300 bbs, if that. What a waste of his amazon gift card.

This is by far an awesome spring action pistol.It's sad though that Cybergun does not make it silver anymore.I would get the black paint and spray paint it silver.It says it holds 28 bb's,but really it only holds about 23 bb's.
The desert eagle .44 magnum is VERY accurate.But only with .20 gram bb's.The .12 gram bb's tend to "float" away.And since it does not have hop-up,DO NOT USE .12 GRAM bb's.The best bb's to use for this gun are High Density .20 gram bb's.These bb's make the gun much more accurate because they're much more heavier than .12 gram bb's.
This gun is excellent for beginners!This gun is 1 pound.The plastic is also very durable too.The desert eagle took about 5 days to come.

If you're gonna buy this for a main weapon, don't. It runs out of ammo to quickly. I use it when I run out of ammo in my assault rifle. I pull it out and shoot. if you pull the spring back 3 or 4 times, it shoots 3 or 4 bb's. It's bad on your gun and can cause jams though.

I got this gun and was really satisfied with it. Its a great gun for beginners and I love the feel of using it. Personnaly, I've always been the fan of any Magnum. Once you get used to this gun its works great! The only flaw in the gun is that if you don't pull it back as far as possible ot dry fires. I really love the gun.

If your son's just getting started with airsoft, this should be good. The only little problem is that you have to refill the clip with bbs one by one. So when you have an airsoft war it takes about 1-2 minutes to reload. Overall, it's a great gun!!!
