Not that I like to write a full review, but if you're interested in this camera, I'd say just go ahead and buy it. It's very good quality, but honestly, will need to buy at least two extra batteries, I don't know if is a design flaw, but the life of the batteries, even the aftermarket ones, is too short. Hope Pentax comes up with a solution to this (or the aftermarket battery designers).

For the price , which by the way is the lowest I have been able to find on this exact camera or even for that matter a different brands comparable camera. A great little camera all around. I highly recommend it. Lots of features, takes a little time to learn. If I can anyone can. BUY IT

Not as impressed as I thought I would be. It has a supposed triple anti shock feature that doesn't work better than my Kodaks anti-shock. Maybe even worse. Maybe it's me but the flash should automatically pop up in low light situations when in the auto mode. Mine still has to be manually activated. The video quality is no different than my Kodak even though the resolution is set to HD. Honestly, outside of the 25X optics, it's no better than my lower resolution, lower optic camera.

The camera is easy to use although it is difficult to control the zoom. I expected more for the quality of the pictures. Even in a small zoon the pictures have some problems. Also the battery has short life...so you better buy extras (I bought three).

I am not a professional photog and cannot write about the technical aspects of this camera. But I really, really like this camera. It takes great pictures, is easy to use, is super lightweight and is an all around a great little camera. It was a big step up from my pocket digital camera that was a point and shoot with little zoom capacity. I bought it on recommendations from other users and was not steered in the wrong direction.
