To keep from the static it is necessary to turn the iPod down so low I can't hear it. A Plus: nice long cord. Maybe I have a lemon, I don't know but I'm just going to use on my computer rather than a travel speaker for my pod. Rating: - Bang For The Buck While I don't see the value of the Cube for phone applications, it was perfect to sidestep my weak laptop speaker (Inspiron Mini 12). Battery or USB powered, it's been wonderful for Podcasts. Don't expect super hi-fi for bass-oriented music but for $10, it's damn-near disposable! Give it a shot...a great value!
