Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Stori telling
I love Tori Spelling! This is Tori's side of her story that the media tries to tell. Thanks to Tori now we know her side of it all.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - sTORI Telling by Torii Spelling ( Mcdermott)
Stori Telling by Tori Spelling is a charming, witty and often self
deprecating memoir. This delightfully written book is an easy read, and a genuine look at her privileged and often unhappy life. Her strength in character quickly shines through as she describes the challenges she faces as the daughter of a famous Hollywood icon. Filled with wit and honesty you will find yourself sinking into your favorite chair determined to read every page. I look forward to her next book Mommywood. © Bobskatie Enterprises for Amazon.com

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Debunking the Myth of "Poor Little Rich Girl"
In an amusing and oft-times self-deprecatory memoir, sTORI Telling, Tori Spelling responds to the numerous tabloid tales of her life as the "poor little rich girl" daughter of famous Aaron Spelling; she also presents her side of the notorious feud between herself and her famous mother Candy.

Even if we don't completely buy her version of events - it is difficult to discount that famous nepotism and the wealth and privilege of a childhood as "Hollywood royalty" - the author does give a plausible version of events. Yes, her father's name opened doors, but also she found doors slamming in her face when the perception followed her of that girl who needed nothing and whose life of privilege created numerous opportunities.

Tori describes earning her own way from her teenage years on, and despite the wealth and privilege, receiving only a pittance of what could have been viewed as rightfully hers - when her father died and left her a miniscule portion of a humongous estate.

When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade - this might be her new motto. She has now written two best-selling memoirs and created and produced a reality show, as well as her own jewelry line. She appears to be surviving, despite any "disadvantages."

I am also in the midst of reading her mother's version of events, in Stories from Candyland. Should be interesting...
