As one of the previous reviewers mentioned, -be sure that you check the rail setup on your rifle as these sights are designed to mount on a rifle where the rear and front picatinny rails are exactly the same elevation. I visually checked mine and though I would be alright but ended up having to unscrew the front sight post a few turns so that I could at least shoot straight.
Also another tip from the school of hard knocks... use a screw driver to tighten the mounting screws up really tight. I hand tightened mine and while walking through the forest it fell off somewhere. Wasn't too big a deal on account of the low price but still a pain.

If you have a picatinny gas block that is on the same plane as your M4 flat top rail, this sight tower won't work. It's taller than a typical mil spec rear sight.
