This clock has kept absolutely perfect time since I turned it on. This clock looks great on my wall and a number of people have expressed an interest in buying one like it. I think I have found a great gift idea. Rating: - OK After 1AM Sync I thought I was going to have to return this clock to Amazon after repeated unsuccessful attempts to sync on the day it arrived, but then recalled that my LaCrosse WX station with the atomic clock had also been a bit finicky -- so I let the WT-800SU run overnight and, sure enough, it set itself just fine. I assume that the nightly automatic sync signal is stronger in my area (Wash DC metro) at 1 a.m. than it is during the day, and the clock has now established the sync/update for three nights in a row. Looks like a keeper after all. Rating: - Ideal for an Elderly Person Bought this for an elderly person who is challenged memory wise. Now with the LaCrosse WT-8005U-B Digital clock on the mantle she always knows what day of the week & month it is & no longer misses taking her meds or keeping appointments whether or not the morning paper comes. The large type on the face is also a great help as is the fact that even with a power failure we never have to worry about resetting the La Crosse. Rating: - Stopped working after 2 months Right after New Year's the clock stopped working. Don't waste your money on buying this one! It's a piece of junk. Looks nice just doesn't work. Rating: - A reliable source of time So far it has been operating satisfactorily. Is has day, date and room temperature.
