- GREAT ACTING AND VISUAL EEFECTS
Love the Stargate series! Started out watching SG-1 then onto Atlantis. The acting is great and the visual effects are spectacular. I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift because I got him hooked on the franchise.Can't wait to see Amanda Tapping join the cast and see how the chemistry is between them. The special features are mostly non-exsistent in the first 3 so I'm wondering if it's better in the last two. I really like special features and get into seeing the behind the scenes, deleted scenes, outtakes and the cast talking about themselves and the show. Watching season 3 now! Can't wait for Christmas to watch the others. The packaging is very nice with a picture of the entire cast.

Excellent season, although not the best of the series; it's a pity that it is the last. There were so many possible storylines to explore... I'm hoping just that the coming movies will try cover some of those story's.

- Season 5 Boxed set helps with the SGA withdrawals
Another great boxed set from SGA - actually I believe I enjoyed the special features on this release a little more than I did the ones on Season 4's release. All in all, some of my favorite SGA episodes were in Season 5 so I was thrilled when this set finally arrived! In light of the untimely & unwelcome demise of the series, having this final installment of a wonderful series has off-set the SGA withdrawals a little bit. Actually my only complaint and only disappointment with this Season 5 release was knowing there wouldn't be a Season 6...

The best season of the Atlantis series. I recommend especially the following episodes: Search and Rescue; The Shrine;; First Contact; Lost Tribe; and Enemy at the Gate. I was thrilled to see the acting talent of David Hewlett in "The Shrine". Also, watching David and Michael Schanks perform together was fun.
Looking forward to seeing the movie the "Stargate: Extinction", that is in production!
