I don't use this for my iPhone. I got this for my other USB device - USB Speakers (BXR1220 Portable speakers). It works fine and the build quality is OK. Its OK for the price.

I wish the seller (VIBECELLUAR) had told me before i bought the item that it was a cheap imitation. Only reason i originally gave them a five star and a good comment was because the item broke down a little after i had given them the rating and the comment. Don't fall for it it is a cheap imitation people, you'll just be throwing your money away.

If this isn't a 'real' Apple product, it's a good fake--to be honest, I can't tell...but I can tell you it fried my 2nd g iPod touch! Thankfully, the iPod is still under a service agreement, so I'll get a new one, but talk about a hassle! I can't help but feel that this was a fake sold to me.....I have a feeling the seller would not accept my return, and I guess, thankfully (!), since it was so cheap, I probably won't go to the hassle of trying to get my money back......I will buy another charged--but the real-deal $30 one FROM an Apple retail store AND, I'm going to plug in my iPod right there in the store just in case......

Product arrived broken. The seller, VibeCellular, ship it in a thin unpadded envelop. There is no way it could of survived the shipment in an unpadded envelop. Because it broke opened I can see the poor solder - most likely not genuine Apple. It didn't came in a box or with documentation - another reason why I think it is not genuine Apple.
May be if you purchase from seller other than VibeCellular you will have better luck.
