Product Description: The a lighting system HVLF20AM is a compact, lightweight flash unit perfect for first time DSLR users. This lens makes it easy for everyone to take beautiful photos in low light and is slim and stylish enough to keep it mounted on the camera at all times.

It came quickly when ordered. Goes well with my camera. It's not bulky and it takes up less room in the camera bag. Not sure of the quality of the photos because I haven't had to use it yet. I recommend this shipper because it came quickly and undamaged.

I bought this soon after purchasing my A330. I love this cute little flash! It's small, slim and lightweight, but still a very powerful flash. When not in use, it lays flat on top of the camera. It adds very little extra weight when shooting. It comes with its own carrying case, but easily fits in my small SLR bag.
I primarily use the Bounce Flash Mode, and can tell a huge difference between photos taken with the on-camera flash and this one. The on-camera flash is certainly bright enough, but leaves distracting shadows in your photos.
The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is the price - as great as it is, I still think this flash is priced a little high.

I'm new at this Reflex technology, so I bought a Sony Alpha 230, to start, as recommended in various sites. At first I was impress by the power of the in built flash VS other digital camera that I own. But the night shots made a very intense dark shadow, so I decide to buy an external flash.
As I mentioned early I'm new at this and I don't know much about photography, but the flash looks very nice mounted on the camera, is a slim design, so I it fits nicely in the Alpha bag (the one that came with the camera), is very light, is so easy to use, and the quality of the indoor pictures that I take have improve a lot.
I don't have anything to compare against but it did make a big difference in my amateur photos.

Since my Sony a900 did not come with a built in flash, after a year, I decided to get this little unit. I haven't used it much yet, but it seems to get the job done. I don't need a flash with lots of features. I like the fact that it folds down when not needed.

Works well with my sony a850. Allows me to wirelessly control my other flashes. Aside from that, it is slim and idiot proof to use. Pull up to turn on, push down to turn off. Done.
Not recommended for cameras with a pop up flash.
