 Rating:  - Best windows by farI upgraded from my long lived Windows XP, running on a machine a couple of years old... definitely the best Windows by far. Rating: - Windows 7 is a wonderful update to Windows OS.With Windows Vista being so buggy and having some problems, I was a little worried if ishould just go ahead and use Windows 7 for my new computer. I decided from what I had heard to go ahead and give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised by how stable it was and by how many wonderful little tools it had to make my computing easier. I'd recommend it to anyone. Rating: - Best Windows OS yetFirst off I installed this on my MBP using boot camp and it works great and installation was very smooth. The only complaint is the price which I think should only be around $99. It's a very fluid OS and I was surprised at how fast it was and the ease of using the features. After using 7, makes you wonder why they wasted their time and money with Vista. Rating:  - windows 7Very satisfyingly no problems as of late seems they fixed most of the problems that vista had... Rating:  - this operating system is about useless with most computer hardwareI bought windows 7 to replace windows xp so that I would have an operating system with a recovery disk but I loaded it just fine but then once it was too late I realized that it couldn't even understand any of my drivers especially my ethernet controller even though my computer was totally compliant to system requirements for the 32 bit disk.I took it to my friend at bits-n-bytes computer repair shop in lansing mi and he said that that operating system would not work because dell doesn't even have the drivers for a dell dimension 8100 desktop to operate with it so I had to pay him to reboot it again with windows 7 ultimate because otherwise i would have no drivers even then it took a long time to find all of the drivers because this system has very few.It still has to reboot half of these drivers every time it starts up which takes a long time and is somewhat manual.I can't even return this software for a refund or legally sell it now that it is opened.I think that microsoft has gotten lazy and assumed to much privledge in charging that much money for a cheap operating system.I think that some of those old mac operating sytems are actually higher budget on the production and devlopment end.If you ordered this I think that I would just write refused on the package to send it back to the seller!
