Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Product good, Information lackingPros; The installation went smoother than expected. Everything works as advertised. I did have to find a print driver for HP 6940BT, It found and completed my network, Media center, and Multi screens with no problems. Cons; I have three (3) computer, and now would like to install the upgrade on the others. I now find that for $20.00 more I could have the 3 computer upgrade. Microsoft wants me to buy a new upgrade again. I can return the this copy and pay the shipping and restocking fee. There lose not mine. Rating: - typical terrible productI despise Microsoft so this review is hardly unbiased. Installation was difficult because many older updates had to be installed first. After several hours it was finally ready. Using this product did not seem much better the the crappy Vista it replaced. After using Leopard, this pretty much sucks. In all seriousness, I feel bad-a little-for people who have to use this full time. Rating: - Yea its great. Its good but this should've been free for the travesty that was vista. Usually when you receive a product that is broken its either replaced or exchanged. Welcome to windows 7, it fixes all the problems that vista had for only another $100. Forget that ubuntu is free. Rating: - Not Worth the TroubleI bought both Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional pre-release. Disregard all of the hype of the last 6 months - Windows 7 is NOT worth the cost, the time, the risks, or the hassles of upgrading. My most reliable computer is still my Windows XP. With Windows 7 you get slight improvements on the task bar and interface - however - you risk losing your data, having to do a complete reinstall of ALL of your programs, and then - when you finally have it installed - many of your programs will crash with Windows 7. DO NOT UPGRADE - if you have a working system. The improvements are very marginal and the risk too great. Rating: - WIndows 7 64bitWindows 7 It's good, feels good, smooth, etc. I really don't wanna get deep into what's new in windows 7 in comparison to vista or xp; you can easily find that out But the main issue i wanna talk about is... If you currently have Windows Vista 32 bit and not sure whether upgrade to 32 OR 64 bit version Windows 7. My comp used WIndows Vista 32 bit and I wasn't sure possible to upgrade it to 64 bit Windows 7 (obviously 64 bit is better and started seeing more) I did some research and it's possible to upgrade from 32 bit vista to 64 bit windows 7 ONLY if your comp got the list of these hardwares. -64 bit Processor is a must ( my comp is core 2 duo and went to check at intel website [...]and surprisingly it's 64 bit capable. -4 gb ram MINIMUM... bit obvious because 64 bit 's specialty is able to multitask (i think) choice is up to y'all if you want upgrade 32 bit or 64 bit. But this time, i gave 64 bit a try and It seems good. |
