Shoots hard and straight.
Really heavy, solid feel to it.
Needs gun lube, it's pretty stiff at first.
Orange tip comes off easy (which makes it really realistic looking) but is usually illegal.
Great deal, and can hold up to the popular mk23.

This is the "other" gun of my airsoft collection. I LOVE it. I've only had the orange cap pop off once in the past couple weeks. I didn't glue it in, just popped it back in and it's been fine since. It's accurate as all get out as well. For the price, I'm not sure you can beat it. I am new to this so don't quote me. All in all, a nice piece.

This is a good gun for $20, very comfortable to shoot. Like another reviewer, mine shoots high at close range (probably due to the hop-up). I solved this problem by borrowing my girlfriends orange fingernail paint and putting a small drop on the front sight. This makes it easier to aim as well. use the top of the orange dot for close range (<30') and bottom of the orange dot for long range.

I have several airsoft guns of various styles and types. Springers, GBBs, AEGs, etc. This M1911 is by far, one of the finest pistols in my arsenal. It has a nice weight to it and fits most hands very well. It is versatile, not unlike the real M1911. The only part of this gun that feels a little flimsy is the slide which feels plastic (which it is) and much lower quality than the receiver, barrel and grip.
The trigger is sweet. It has a nice, short trigger and is easily manageable with smaller hands. The magazine holds around 21 BBs and there are two safeties. One on the back strap and one on the left rearward portion of the receiver. The magazine release is an ordinary release button on the left grip, just rearward of the trigger. This is a gun for a righty but not very ambidextrous.
This gun has really good power for a spring pistol. I haven't tested it, but judging from the impact that my BBs make with the target and the damage they do to the same weight and style of cardboard box, I would put it around 350fps. It also has a nice sound when it is fired. A nice, deep POP compared to most springers.
The M1911 has become one of my favorite guns. I am considering a M1911 real steel pistol as well and if it is anywhere near as nice as this airsoft gun, I will definitely add it to my collection. This is a heck of a gun for $20. It would be a bargain at double that.

I was really disappointed in how the pistol does not aim right. It shoots way to high. I had to make the notch larger on the end of the barrel to help it aim better. Its very in accurate . I read a review that someone else had the same problem. What good is it if it does not aim right.
