Bermuda End to End Walk

On May 6th, over 2,000 participants, number of cyclists, youth participants and families took part in this event. For Walkers and Runners, there was the End-to-End walk, 40km/26miles, starting at 8 am at King’s Square, St.George.

Mark and I decided to do the Middle-to-End (24km/15miles) which started at Albuoy’s Point, Hamilton and finishing in Dockyard. We competed the walk in just under 4 hours and with some energy left-over. Looking back at it, we probably should have tried to walk from end to end, however, I am sure that the next 3 hours would have been many times more difficult than the first 3!

We later found out that the total amoung raised for this event this year was $215,000 and the funds went to eight Bermuda charities.
