Dockyard

Today we played tourist, and took the bus out to the Royal Naval Dockyard, and the western tip of Bermuda. Formerly a British Naval base, it has now been converted into a tourist attraction. There is an art gallery, a museum, glassworks and clayworks places, stores, and other things to see. It reminds me a little bit of the way the Distillery District in Toronto has been converted into a tourist attraction, focusing on the arts.

Am looking for the name of a store in the mall in the Dockyard. It was an art gallery just to the right of the main entrance. Anyone know the name? Am regretting not getting a poster of stairs I saw there and am trying to locate the store.

I'm trying to remember the name of the store in Dockyard Mall that had the most beautiful photos of the Island I have ever seen. If anyone knows the name, I would appreciate your letting me know. I really want to order a photo. I lived there for 2 years and would love to have one as a remembrance. Thanks

You are probably thinking of Roland Skinner's "Picturesque Galleries". There is one in Dockyard and also on Front Street in Hamiltion. Click here for more info".
